Reinstating England's Original Patron Saint

ENGLISH IDENTITY BEGINS WITH A TRUE ENGLISH ICON

WHY NOT ST GEORGE ON 23RD APRIL?

The problem with our current patron saint is:

He lived and died before England was ever even heard of and he never even set foot on the land that would eventually become England.

St George is believed to have hailed from the continent - possibly Turkey.

His flag - the red cross on white backround was not associated with St George until long after the Norman Invasion, when 'they' decided to use their old banner - the Papal Cross in his name, this being a battle emblem that would be used to destroy the English and our Anglo Saxon way of life.

It is with this in mind that the St Edmund Association is therefore campaigning to salvage our Old English identity of the pre-1066 era, by promoting St Edmund our nations former patron saint.

Finally we urge all visitors to let people know that November 20th is St Edmund's Day and mark the time of our martyr's death.

HAIL ST EDMUND!
